Ready-or-Not Recital
Join us on October 26th for the first recital of the year! This recital will be all about performing, and much more casual than the Christmas recital. Students will be instructed in bowing, performance practice as well as have opportunities to "try again", as it is the first opportunity of the year!
See you at 3:00pm at Edmonton Moravian Church.
Fall Break
The studio will be closed November 11-13th to observe Remembrance Day, as well as have a small break for the fall. Please let me know in advance if you are away on the weekend prior, as there will still be lessons on the Sunday!
Student Opportunities
There are many fantastic opportunities for students to explore music over the summer, and in the fall that are happening in the city of Edmonton! Here's some to take note of!
Come and Listen Concert Series
I am putting on a concert series at the church that I work at in Millwoods, and it is bound to be a fantastic time! Please see the poster below for information! I will be performing, as well as friends of mine!

The Emperor's New Clothes
November 2nd, 7:30pm
This colourful and enticing event is perfect for all ages, offering a blend of timeless stories and contemporary musical brilliance.
Join us for an enchanting evening as we present the North American premiere of The Emperor’s New Clothes, a delightful musical adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen’s classic fairy tale. This piece is composed by one of our choir’s beloved composers, Uģis Prauliņš. The performance will feature both adult and children’s choirs, with narration and interactive elements that invite audience participation.
The evening will be a vibrant celebration of choral music, with Shumayela, under the direction of Kimberley Denis, joining forces with Pro Coro Canada.
Submit Your Artwork!

“Beginning with audacity is a very great part of the art of painting." — Winston Churchill.
Please show off your artistic skills through creating artwork for the front page of the recital program. We will be having a variety of art contests throughout the year for the recitals, and it is a great way to show off your other artistic talents! You can submit your artwork anytime throughout the next few weeks. The rules are as follows:
The artwork must include the title of the recital: "Ready-Or-Not"
Colour is preferred, but not required.
You can use any medium (crayons, pencil, paint or digital media).
Submission needs to be a jpg. file or a PDF and must be submitted through the website.
Submissions are due by October 15th.
